When to Use What
Three common scenarios — and the chemical program that solves them.
Scale Formation
Use Flocon 135, Hypersperse MDC772, or Vitec 5100 to prevent CaCO₃, CaSO₄, BaSO₄, and SrSO₄ deposition on RO membranes. For MSF plants, use Belgard EV2030.
Biofouling
Use Bellacide 355 for non-oxidizing control of bacteria, algae, and fungi. For oxidizing treatment, use LiquiBrom 4600. For shock treatment, use RoCide DB5.
Membrane Fouling
Use Flocon MC3 for inorganic scale removal (low pH). Use Kleen MCT404 for organic foulants, silt, and colloidal deposits (neutral pH). Combine for complete CIP.
