Choosing the Right Activated Carbon
Three key factors determine the optimal carbon media for your application.
Large Organic Molecules
For removal of large molecular weight organics and colour compounds, choose AquaSorb 5000 — a mesoporous GAC with 1200 m²/g surface area and extended pore volume.
Trace Organics & Taste/Odour
For trace-level contaminants, low molecular weight organics, and chlorine taste/odour removal, choose AquaSorb CP1 (PAC) or Pentek GAC / TSGAC cartridges.
Point-of-Use & RO Pre-treatment
For compact point-of-use systems and RO pre-treatment, choose Lenn Filtration CHV2510 (480 L/h) or Pentek GAC cartridges (2 gpm). For combined scale & rust control, use TSGAC.
