CIP Protocol — Step by Step
The standard membrane cleaning procedure we follow during every CIP service.
Pre-CIP Assessment
Record pre-CIP normalized flow, salt rejection, and ΔP. Determine whether low-pH, high-pH, or neutral cleaning is required based on foulant type.
Low-PH Cleaning (if required)
Prepare BWA Flocon MC3 at 25 g/L dilution. Recirculate through membranes for 30–60 minutes at low pressure. Target: inorganic scale (CaCO₃, CaSO₄, iron).
High-PH Cleaning (if required)
Prepare BWA Flocon MC11 or Kleen MCT404. Recirculate for 30–60 minutes. Target: organic foulants, silt, biological matter, oil & grease.
Soak
Allow cleaning solution to remain in the membrane elements for 1–2 hours (or overnight for heavy fouling) to fully penetrate and dissolve foulants.
Flush & Rinse
Flush with RO permeate or softened water until the return rinse water reaches neutral pH and cleaning solution residues are fully removed.
Post-CIP Verification
Restart system, record post-CIP normalized flow, rejection, and ΔP. Compare with pre-CIP data. Document in CIP log and issue final report.
What Makes Our Service Different
Four principles that guide every maintenance visit.
Chemistry-Led Cleaning
CIP chemicals and dosages selected based on real foulant analysis — not guesswork or generic protocols.
Data-Driven
Every visit records normalized flow, rejection, and ΔP — so you see exactly how your plant performs over time.
Genuine Parts Only
Membranes, cartridges, dosing pumps, and instruments sourced through Lenntech, Dow, Grundfos, and ProMinent.
24/7 Emergency Support
Call, WhatsApp, or email — with on-site mobilisation within 24–48 hours anywhere in Egypt.
Keeping RO Plants at Design Performance
Watch the full RO desalination process in operation — including the pre-treatment, high-pressure membrane stages, and post-treatment that our maintenance team monitors on every visit. Cleaning and tuning these stages is what keeps plants running at design flow and quality year after year.
